On Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Anglican churches in York-Scarborough are hosting the first ever Scarborough Steeplechase scavenger hunt and inviting members of the community to participate.

Teams will begin the fun, interactive event at Church of the Holy Trinity, Guildwood (85 Livingston Rd.) and travel to 10 churches, before reaching Grace Church (700 Kennedy Rd.) for an awards ceremony reception. At each location, at least one team member of team will complete an activity, such as a water relay or building tour. Contestants will need to navigate their way through an undisclosed course with only clues they win at the challenges to guide them. Bishop Kevin Robertson will present awards to the winners and congratulate all participants, at the post-hunt reception.

Anyone, including minors accompanied by a guardian, is invited to register by September 1, 2019 with a $25 donation to community partner – Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) which makes financial and human resources available to partners around the world working to improve health, food security and livelihoods for vulnerable people.
