Fourth Sunday of Pentecost
Eve of St. Peter & St. Paul
Happy Canada Day!
You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 1 Peter 2.9
• Genesis 22:1-14 • Psalm 13 • Romans 6:12-23 • Matthew 10:40-42
Driven by Prayer: Join us today in the St. Tim’s parking lot! Gather your masks and gloves and come and meet the clergy, staff and wardens in the parking lot for prayer between 11:30 AM and 1 PM.
Eve of St. Peter & St. Paul: The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul or Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul is a liturgical feast in honour of the martyrdom in Rome of the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul, which is observed on 29 June.
Canada Day: On July 1, let's unite virtually and share our national pride. https://www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/campaigns/canada-day.html
Thank you! A special thank you to our Sunday School Teachers who have taught, loved and nurtured our children over this past year. Special thanks to our St. Timothy’s Choir, Leads and our High School Students who joined us in our choir this year- your bright spirits and happy smiles delighted us during worship every Sunday! God bless you as you continue on your path!
Let’s Raise the Roof Together: This week alone, we received three cheques for $1000 each. Two were from parishioners who wished to remain anonymous. And one cheque was from our very own St. Timothy’s Belles! To date, we’ve raised a total of $8200. Each “bundle” which covers ten square feet costs $50. We invite you to step up in faith and purchase one or more bundles, as you are able. Please know that gifts of any amount are gratefully received and appreciated. You can donate through the church website, and fill in the memo so we know where you want your gift directed- or by sending your cheque to the church. Please be sure to label it as a gift for the “Raise the Roof” Campaign.
VBS Summer Camp: Have you signed up for camp? It’s time to sign up your children and grandchildren. Camp runs from July 13th to 17th. Register with Elaine at email@example.com
Mini-Break: The wardens have insisted that my family and I take a few short days away from the parish to rest. We will be in Ottawa from Friday, July 3, to Wednesday, July 8. For all pastoral emergencies, please contact The Rev. Dr. Kathy Buligan at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office for assistance. God bless!
Yours in the peace of Christ,
