Happy Father’s Day!
- Let us praise those men who have "fathered" us in their role as mentors and guides. Let us praise those men who are about to become fathers; may they openly delight in their children. And let us praise those fathers who have died, but live on in our memory and whose love continues to nurture us.
- Today we also celebrate National Indigenous Peoples’ Day. June is a dedicated time for all Canadians to learn about and celebrate the First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples of our country: their rich and diverse histories, languages and cultures and the many ways they contribute to our common life. We look forward to exploring this in greater depth in the context of the sermon today as well as the Intercessions and Liturgy.
- Please note that while the youth will still be gathering for pizza, ice cream and a movie this coming Friday, the Servers Training has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. We’ll be in touch as soon as we have a new date!
- Join us after the 10 am service next week for our annual picnic! Only $5 for a hamburger, chips, a drink, and ice cream, or you can bring your own picnic lunch. You will find the registration link in your recent eblast or on the website.
Peace of Christ!
