Praise & Worship Saturday Night Healing Service

Welcome to another moment of prayer and praise presented by the Praise & Worship team.  We look forward to the time when we can meet together again for worship.

A reading from……

Scripture:  Psalm 51: 10 – 12

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit."

Let us pray….

Dear Father,

We thank you for bringing us together for another day of prayer and worship.

We thank you for sparing our lives that we may sing your praises.

We worship you, we exalt and magnify your holy name.

We come to you dear Lord for you to change our hearts.

We are faced with challenging times, racial unrest, injustice and pandemic. We pray that our clergy will be armed with your strength to lead us through these dark times. Father, give them the tools that they may be able to guide us so that we may be filled with Your Holy Spirit.

Teach us humility; teach us to love as you love, teach us to love and show love to all, regardless of the colour of their skin, their beliefs, their actions.

Teach us to work together in unity and peace.

Teach us Dear Father, not to stray from the path You have set before us. Keep us focused on You and the love, grace and mercy You have for mankind.

I pray for those with broken hearts and broken lives. Bring healing to all those who are suffering, bring comfort to those who mourn and bring peace to our nation.   Bless us with healing, change our circumstances and give us peace and prosperity in abundance.

Invade us with Your presence, O Lord. Steady our hearts that we may give comfort, love and hope to each other. Change our hearts, O God so that we may bring change to the world.

In the name of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.

Amen.
