ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We’ve got a good many things happening at St. Timothy’s this week!

• Join us for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner on Tuesday, February 21st @ 5 PM in Walker Hall. $10 for adults and kids eat for free.  Don’t forget to sign up in the Narthex!
• Our Ash Wednesday In-Person Service of Holy Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes will be on Wednesday, February 22 @ 10 AM And there will be an In-Person and Online Service of Choral Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes @ 7 PM in the evening- the online YouTube link was in your recent E-blast and is on the website.
• Our Annual Vestry Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 10 am on Zoom.  A digital copy of the Vestry Report has been emailed to the parish, and hard copies of the report are available in the Narthex today.  We look forward to seeing you online!  The zoom link will be sent this coming week in your February 23rd E-blast, and is also available on our website.
• Are you ready to join us for the weekly fasts this Lent?  Our Village Church Lent Study begins on Ash Wednesday. All the information you’ll need week by week will be attached to each E-blast during the season of Lent.  Each week you will hear a sermon that highlights the gospel text for each weekly fast. This first week’s fast is from food.  This can be done any number of ways: giving up a particular food item, like meat or bread or giving up a meal like lunch every day, or limiting food to mealtimes only (no snacks), having a simple supper of soup each day or whatever comes to your mind. Every Sunday after worship, we’ll meet downstairs for coffee during fellowship time in order to support one another and reflect on what God is showing us each week during Lent.
