SPRING PLANT SALE THANK YOU: St. Timothy’s Spring Plant Sale was a great success! Thank you to all who purchased plants. Our hope is that these lovely flowers will continue to beautify your home throughout the coming months. KENNETH KASULE VISITS ST. TIM’S MAY 25TH: Kenneth is the founder and director of Wide Smiles Through Education Charity in the rural Central Buganda area of Uganda. This is a not for profit charity which provides educational opportunities to very poor children, concentrating on giving girls and orphans priority. Kenneth along with the Rotary Club of Maya (same area) are raising funds to build an elementary school with vocational and career opportunities in the area. Kenneth is married, and is the father of 3 children. For more information check out www.widesmilesug.org
CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL JOIN US FOR WORSHIP JUNE 1ST: We are delighted to have the Caribbean Carnival Festival Management Committee join us for worship on Sunday, June 1st. On this day, members of the commitee will help contribute to various parts of the liturgy, including providing a reading, singing, playing of the steel drums and liturigcal dance by a children’s group. What an exciting day this will be! You are encouraged to wear colourful clothing!
ASCENSION DAY SERVICE AT ST. JUDE’S: On Thursday, May 29th at 6:30 pm our Deanery will host an Ascension Day Service at St. Jude’s, Wexford. All are invited. On Sunday, June 1st, everyone will be invited, during the liturgy, to participate in “Thy Kingdom Come” prayer adventure between Ascension Sunday and Pentecost. Our act of global prayer this year will be to pray for 5 people, invinting the Holy Spirit to begin transforming their lives! Stay tuned for details.
VISIONING DAY WITH DIOCESE JUNE 7:If you’ve been involved with the church for over 2 years, have volunteered or led ministry teams in the parish, and have an open heart to hearing what our God is calling us to do…we would love you to attend the upcoming Visioning Day hosted by our Dream Team and facilitated by Janet Marshall and Margaret Reid. RSVP the office if you plan to attend. Lunch will be provided. Bonis Room: 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
