The Belles

The Belles are an active group of women who contribute to the life of the church through fellowship and fun for women of all ages at St. Timothy’s. Among their activities are:

Organizing Christmas events, Dinner events, various sales, Bus trips for shows and shopping, etc. If you are interested in joining or learning more about this vibrant group, please be in touch with Xavier Dias at 416-587-3181 for more information.

The Craft Club is a group of dedicated women of the parish who meet once a week to use their talents to support the Annual Christmas Craft Club Sale. The members crochet, knit, sew and craft unique items that are used not only for the Annual Sale but also to support a variety of charities and outreach. If you would be interested in offering your talents or learning a new one, while sharing a cup of coffee or tea and fellowship, please contact Pamela Blizzard at 416-491-1038 for further information.

WorkShop

A fun group of the Fast Friars that use woodworking projects, repairs of furniture and odd jobs for the good of the Church as well our larger community of Scarborough. Our Christian fellowship allows you to learn carpentry skills while helping the wider community. This group meet Mondays and Tuesdays from 9.00 a.m. until 12.00 p.m. in Lamont Hall. For more information, contact Ken Page.

Health & Safety & AODA

Our motto: “health and safety is everyone’s responsibility”. This group supports all things that are important for the health and safety of its parishioners and visitors. Our Goal therefore is to comply with the Workplace Health and Safety Act as posted on the Health and Safety Bulletin Board as mandated by the Diocese of Toronto.  We also work to ensure that our building and programs are accessible to anyone with disabilities.

This group meets monthly, every 2nd Tuesday at 7.00 p.m. to discuss health and or safety issues and concerns that may impact the life in St. Timothy’s. However, we rely on you, our parishioners and visitors, to inform us of situations that may be unsafe or could, if unattended, potentially evolve into situations that may result in unacceptable, and or avoidable consequences. If you can, please “be our eyes and ears”, help us to keep everyone safe.
