ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • ANOINTING & HEALING PRAYER: This Sunday, at the 10 AM Service, anointing and healing prayer will be available to everyone following communion. You can ask for prayers for yourself or a friend or family member. Please meet with our anointer in the Chapel for prayer!

  • OFFICE CLOSED THANKSGIVING MONDAY: Our church office will reopen on Tuesday, October 14th.

  • SPECIAL ADVISORY BOARD MEETING: Advisory Board Members are reminded that we will be meeting online with the Diocese on Wednesday, October 15th at 6 PM. A link will be sent to you.

  • BISHOP’S COMPANY DINNER: The 64th annual Bishop’s Company Dinner will take place at the Sheraton Parkway North Hotel on Friday, October 17th at 6 pm for cocktails and 7 pm for dinner and entertainment. Funds raised support the Bishop of Toronto’s Ministries and emergency care for clergy in need. This year’s speaker will be Dan Carter, Mayor of Oshawa.   • ADOPT AN ALPHA MEAL: Special thanks to those who have already “adopted” a meal for our Alpha Course.  Your contributions of food and money are such a blessing for our new friends and parishioners!  To adopt an Alpha Dinner, please leave your cheque or cash on the offering plate to give to Jie in the office, clearly marked “For Alpha.”  Thank you!

  • TURKEYS! The St. Timothy's Outreach Committee thanks everyone who donated so generously to the Toonies for Turkeys fund, so that our Hot Lunch guests could enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday and again at Christmas and Easter.  The total received during the last three weeks was $950. Wow!!!  We are most grateful for your caring consideration of the people in our community who are less fortunate.
