ANNOUNCEMENTS

• SPRING PLANT SALE: Pick up your hanging baskets this Saturday, May 9th. The staff of Zomer’s Greenhouses have recommended that plants be brought inside, whenever the outdoor temperature falls below 5 degrees Celsius. Special thanks to Janet Trim, and her team of volunteers for organizing the sale and pick-up day!
• UPDATE ON LAND-LEASE (DREAM TEAM) PROJECT: Canon Andrea had a successful study leave working on the diocesan documents required for the upcoming land lease before taking a time of silent retreat. The staff, wardens, advisory and dream team have all been tasked with securing the final surveys, pictures, grant information etc., in order to complete the 5 documents that will be presented to the Diocese. The next step will be to meet with members of the Diocesan team to discuss the work that’s been done on June 7th.
• CELEBRATING THE SAFE ARRIVAL OF SORAYA:  On Saturday, May 2, Denese (Diane Fran’s daughter) gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl!  Congratulations on being a grandmother again, Diane!  Mom and baby are doing well.  Big brother Khyrie is thrilled.  Our prayers are with Denese, Soraya (8 lbs, 9oz!) and family! Diane says, “Joy Comes in the Morning” (song) God has blessed us.”
• BAPTISM REHEARSAL: Baptismal Candidates and family members are invited to gather in the chancel area following our service of worship on Sunday, May 17th for a Baptism Rehearsal with Canon Andrea. Godparents are encouraged to attend!
• FELLOWSHIP DURING THE SUMMER: Would you like to help out with Fellowship this year for the months of June, July & August?  Sheila & Ouida Lovell and their teams need a time of refreshment and renewal over the summer, which gives us a chance to step up! We invite you to think about choosing some friends/family members to help provide fellowship (tea/coffee and snacks) on one Sunday during the summer. You might even want to step up with your ministry team like the Altar Guild, or Craft Club, Sidespeople, Monday/Tuesday Bible Study, Wardens etc.  A sign-up sheet is available in the Narthex.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of your Wardens.
