Good morning and welcome to this service of Holy Eucharist on Trinity Sunday, the first Sunday after Pentecost. It is on Trinity Sunday that we celebrate the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the three Persons of God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
This morning we welcome special guest, Will Postma, Executive Director of Primates World Relief and Development Fund. As we prepare to support the Indigenous Water Project with our Walk-A-Thon in June, we look forward to hearing more about the wonderful work PWRDF is doing to bring clean drinking water to those within our own country and beyond who are suffering.
We’re delighted you’ve joined us for worship today, please stay connected for a time of fellowship and discussion following the service!
HYMN SING: Yesterday afternoon we gathered to sing our most favourite hymns as a way to combat isolation, have some fun, and draw nearer to God. Speical thanks to our musicians, Marianne, Raymond, Sofia, Kara & Angela, as well as to Elaine who organized all the music, and to Kathy, David and Ben for their support and help. We made a joyful sound unto the Lord!
WALK-A-THON UPDATE: Your pledge and registration forms for the St. Tim’s virtual 6 K Walk-A-Thon are on our website now. Walk anytime from May 30th to June 21st. All funds will go to both the PWRDF Indigenous Water project, and the mission and ministry of this parish. For more information, please speak to the wardens or call the office.
